Parent Share & Support (PSAS) offers support, education, and resources to parents, caregivers, children, at no cost, through the following programs:
Parents As Teachers:
an internationally acclaimed early childhood program for parents of children prenatal to age five. Parents receive information on their child's development, parenting tips, and fun ideas for parent-child interaction.
Nurturing Skills for Families: This Program Currently Unavailable
program that was developed for children up to age 12 that helps build self-worth through appropriate expectations of children's growth and development. The Nurturing Program also empowers adults and children through the development of their own personal power.

Crisis Child Care services is a free program serving families with children birth-5 years in Buchanan, Delaware, and Fayette Counties. Services are available for use on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis*. This is a short term solution to assist your childcare needs such as an:

Group Meetings
Family Learning Time (FLT)
Parent-child interaction and educational activities with opportunity to connect and share with other families in the community. Group is located both in Oelwein and West Union offices. Contact your local office for dates.

Group is located in Oelwein for Dads to connect and learn through educational activities that focus on the importance of fatherhood.

Child Passenger Safety
PSAS has certified Technicians on staff at each center to answer questions on proper installation and use of car seats.
Clothes Closet
Parents are able to obtain clothing and items for their children on an "exchange" system.
Draw the Line/Respect the Line and FLASH
